It’s not anti‑technology to say that data centers shouldn’t harm the communities around them. Environmental justice matters. Local residents deserve clean air, safe water, and a say in what gets built in their backyard. Speaking up as she is , is how we protect each other. #SheShed
@uoyenvironment.bsky.social We had a great day at beautiful Filey beach exploring coastal features on the first day of the York-based 2nd year field trip!
Just finished this graphic novel by Kate Beaton. What a moving and troubling story about life in the Albertan oil sands. It touches on so many themes- hyper-masculinity, Canadian economic disparity, frontier politics, sexual abuse and environmental violence. Such a worthwhile read. #Ducks
I wrote an opinion piece on srheblog.com about the need to extend and improve environmental justice education in UK HEIs. #highereducation #environmentaljustice #environmentaljusticeeducation

Mattress on the floor for co-sleeping with baby here at the in-laws. Can’t complain. Having to clamber over the wooden base to open the window blinds is a small price to pay for preventing smol from falling out of bed. Inclusion of v old cuddly tiger a nice touch. 🎄 #duvetknowitschristmas
