Fragile as we may be, tests of faith can help us remember the source of light in our hearts as we walk the bridge across forever… #Spiritchat A6
A7: #spiritchat losing parents, losing a partner or losing anyone that had meaning in your life. You learn to navigate life again without that person. It’s surreal for a long time but time is usually a healer. I’ve learnt that inner peace & strength is super important. I protect my peace #spiritchat
Q7. A life instance where fragile parts of you did break… and yet you healed through your unbroken parts ans/or relationships… #SpiritChat
A6: #spiritchat if you want your life to have meaning for others, practice and find inner peace, consider that you won’t live forever (turning 59 really hit me) and note that your actions and reactions may influence others after you are gone.
Q5. “Live as if you were to die on the morrow…” ~ anything you would do differently today if you were to practice this? #SpiritChat
The physical passing of a loved one can be a reminder… to pay attention to what we are doing in our ‘dash’ from birth to death… what is our ‘dash’ going to say about us? 🙏🏽 💙 #Spiritchat A3
A3: #spiritchat you find out who your true friends are….
A4: #spiritchat coming in late! Good morning all. I don’t think we can truly prepare for life’s events. Once we’ve experienced losing someone we know how it feels but it’s never the same over time.
A4) We will all be tested but I don't believe we prepare for every possibility in life. Part of this life is experienced 'in the suffering'. I'm not a Buddhist but I do agree with the First Noble Truth! #Spiritchat
Q4. How can we prepare for life events or moments when our fragility will be invariably tested… can we? #SpiritChat
And here it is -- the essay question! Our ways to navigate grief are as unique as we are. When my beloved parents crossed over wishing 9 months of each other, I did not "get over it." I learned to watch for the signs they continued to send to me, and to continue to feel their love. 💕 A3 #SpiritChat
Q3. A (be)loved one passes (suddenly) and we are often expected to ‘be strong, get over it’ ~ now what? #SpiritChat
A3: Time - and nature's provision of fading memory - are the best healers tho some scars and grief esp related to dates / events n resulting grief pain likely stay permanent. Alas, people depart, memories live and others have to continue on. #SpiritChat
A3) I've lived this when my husband died. I don't believe that was anyone's intention but for a long time, I felt I was just going through the motions of life because I had children but felt empty inside. #Spiritchat
Q3. A (be)loved one passes (suddenly) and we are often expected to ‘be strong, get over it’ ~ now what? #SpiritChat
And, never postpone a good deed or duty to tomorrow, because life is uncertain and the present moment is all we truly control. #SpiritChat
A2: Celebrate life and cherish n be grateful for all that we have - IN PRESENT MOMENT. Alas, we don't n then shed tears n weep with grief over what / one is gone forever! #SpiritChat
A1 The longer we survive the more we appreciate how lucky we are to have gotten this far, wishing we could share it with others who can only speak to us through pictures, letters, childhood homes, video or fading memories. #SpiritChat
A2) Natural disasters such as the fires that have been consuming precious trees, homes, and land. Loss of people and children who die too soon. #Spiritchat
Q2. What are some signs or messages of life’s fragility… (particularly the ones we often ignore) #SpiritChat
Yes… every breath is a gift and we have the opportunity to do something beautiful with it 🙏🏽 #Spiritchat
A1) Life is fleeting... in a whisper of a moment, any one of us can be gone. Most of us do not know the day or the hour. #spiritchat
Let’s begin! Q1. “The Fragility of Life” ~ how does this phrase speak to your heart and mind in this moment? Do share. #Spiritchat
