It's utterly impractical for Congress to have to approve a local D.C. tax cut or contributions to a pre-tax college savings account. Yet extreme members of Congress are more interested in dictating local D.C. tax codes than delivering real results to their constituents at home.

Here’s why I just deactivated my DoorDash account when I normally order 1-3 times EACH WEEK from them. Stripping DC residents of self government and autonomy and inviting Congressional oversight that couldn’t be done anywhere else in the US. BYE FELICIA! #DumpDoorDash #DCStatehood #TheLastColony

In their letter, DoorDash seems to be conflating the passive congressional review that all of our legislation undergoes with active approval. Suffice to say, those are not even close to the same thing.
