NYC--finally! It's great living in a neighborhood with people who can read & aren't racist. Writer. (Working in finance as a day job for some reason.) (Also in grad school now, thrown to wolves. Forced to teach freshman comp. World is a vampire.)

I supported McMorrow in the Michigan primary. When she dropped, I was truly undecided about who to back. I'm no leftist radical, but based on the conduct of the Stevens campaign, its supporters & donors, & the millions she recieves from AIPAC, I believe El-Sayed is the best, most electable choice.

Abdul El-Sayed is running for US Senate in Michigan to get money out of politics, put money in your pocket, and pass Medicare for All.

Just saw Sanders, AOC, and Abdul last night, and the self-evident answer is that AOC is Bernie's successor and that's it. Having Abdul, and eventually Mamdani, in the Senate would eventually fill the Bernie gap there, but as a presidential prospect, she it.

Everyone's always looking into their crystal balls hoping to see the post-Trump future of the Republican Party. I think it's more interesting to try to anticipate the post-Sanders future of the new new left. www.offmessage.net/p/progressiv...

I am following you in part because Mark G made a big show of blocking you for fear of common sense. I am also following you because that common sense has led you to (I believe) the correct conclusion that AOC is someone who can right what is wrong with this country.

God what a great night. What a great day. We won. We actually won. Welcome Brad Lander, Claire Valdez, and, though I strongly disagree with her in some big areas (the genocide Russia is committing in Ukraine, NIMBYism, AOC, etc.), also welcome Darializa Avila Chevalier to the House. Still shocked!

The ultra left gleefully embracing a christian nationalist white supremacist Islamophobe bigot over her Israel stance while repeatedly attacking AOC, objectively one of the very best members of Congress on Palestine, has to be one of the most profoundly evil things I have ever witnessed.

It was not that long ago when conservatives had a chokehold on every branch of Wisconsin government, piles of Koch and Uline money, and seemed unstoppable. People worked FUCKING HARD to change that shit and now look at em. Change is always possible and never ever easy.

Wisconsin liberals have just won another state Supreme Court election, in what is shaping up to be a blowout. Importantly: Liberals are now sure to hold a majority on this court during the 2028 cycle and through at least 2030. New in @boltsmag.org: boltsmag.org/wisconsin-su...

The Online Leftist argument: "AOC voted to fund Israel!!" -when? What bill? "H.R. 4016!" -but AOC voted no "No! MGT's bill! To defund Israel!" -that's an amendment to the bill she voted no on "AOC voted to fund Israel!" -But AOC voted no on the bill that funded Israel "THIS ISN'T ABOUT HER VOTES!!"
