By now, you're probably familiar with the story behind Coyote vs. Acme and how Warner Bros very nearly kept it from ever seeing release. While that's a tale all its own, what it ignores is that what we have here is quite likely the very best Looney Tunes movie that has ever been made.
Coyote vs. Acme (2026)
Certain characters are thought of as film royalty: Charles Foster Kane, Vito Corleone, George Bailey, Wile E. Coyote. Yes, Wile E. Coyote belongs among the stars as do Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and an assortment of colorful, animated, characters that have delighted generations on screens big and small. Animated characters never die, their voice may change a bit here and there, but they endure unlike those fragile humans.

That is a great quote. I imagine so many creatives that worked on dormant IP owned by a much bigger company have similar experiences. Especially now when so much has been brought back.

One reason why I wrote this book is because good animation requires a firm belief in its effectiveness as a storytelling medium. Its creation necessitates inherent passion. And BTAS is a stellar example of that passion.
