Something I'm seeing after posting about our struggles with my dad's dementia - many are quietly going through similar struggles and emotions. It means something to know I'm not alone and that there are others who understand.

My dad has a PhD in psychology, a masters of theology, speaks three languages, but you'd probably never guess that these days. Dementia worsens and it's heartbreaking. Death will come, but it feels like I've already lost so much of him. Dementia is a merciless thief.💔

Seeing a white supremacist hate group marching in DC is emblematic of where we are as a nation. They do not represent everyone, but they do have the approval or enjoy the tacit silence of a significant number of Americans. You cannot ignore who they are and who they align with.
