Unfortunate enough to suffer from the conditions of being both British and having Asperger's. I despise felon presidents and their enablers. I politically lean left and I am also Pro-EU. My pronouns are He/Him.

The people who say that their main concern is integration of refugees and migrants should be particularly happy today at her success in integrating. But I suspect they are very angry instead. It's almost as if the integration arguments are often made in bad faith.

Sagal Abdi-Wali came to the UK aged 7 having fled the war in Somalia with her family. She has thrived. Leader of Camden council and now the MP for Holborn and St Pancras. A narrative that runs counter to all we are told about refugees. Congratulations www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

My thoughts; 1) That Zionism motion is frankly bizarre and should be reversed. Israel is currently genocidal but supporting a Jewish state is in itself not racism, especially amongst those who oppose Netanyahu's government. 2) I don't think Labour would be willing to work with the Greens anyway.

As I’ve said from the start, this motion was all kinds of stupidity for the @greenparty.org.uk Their deputy Welsh leader has quit and the leader is considering their position. Labour has said they won’t now consider working with the Green Party. Good job. 🙄

Here's a thing that annoys me more than it should. After a 6 month hiatus in playing multiplayer Minecraft, I found Microslop had changed my account settings without telling me and they won't let me change them back without age verification. The UK Online Safety Act strikes again.

Brexit has been a Tory masterclass in ideological madness. It’s widely accepted by the country as a barrelling shitshow but *still* their entitled little reps strut about insisting we can’t be allowed to vote on it again. Who TF does this person think she is? And why TF should she decide anything?

In an interview with The i Paper, shadow housing secretary Katie Lam, who voted Leave in 2016, rejected the prospect of Britain rejoining the EU. Read more: trib.al/VYQTH5y

Whichever senior officer sent other officers out to conduct arrests without explaining to them the law around arrest in these circumstances and the need for due process should be invited to come in front of the cameras and explain what’s going on.

UNLAWFUL ARREST On Sunday, police forcefully detained and handcuffed a young man under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act. They stripped him of clothing while dragging him across the floor. He had not committed any crime.

Still think this is a good idea, tbh - I’m still shocked by the number of empty flats in the new builds around Vauxhall that were purchased as investments. Those flats would be perfect for young people starting out - and would do far more for the country than a nice big return on investment.

There seems to be two types of Labour. Labour which has more traditional Labour values. And Labour which apes the worst of the Conservatives, Reform UK, and Restore. I'm not a Labour voter, but I much prefer the firar type Labour to the latter.

It should have never have come to this. Kent Police should have arrested him when he organised for his army of masked far right thugs to blockade Dover. Something for which XR protesters (who do have valid concerns) have been imprisoned for.

Great news. Now lock him up! He’s an extremist & threat to public Anti-migrant Danny ‘Thomo’ activist arrested over video of dinghy slashing He was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage with intent to endanger life and endangering the safety of a ship on Wednesday. He remains in custody.

Daniel Thomas arrested over video of dinghy slashing

Police had been looking into footage appearing to show the man, also known as Danny Tommo, slashing at a boat in the English Channel with a knife.

I think once black clad men are interfering with rescues at sea, we are past "legitimate concerns". Once they're attacking boats, and risking the lives of everyone on board, it's just thuggery. The Home Secretary's statement is on the side of criminals. There's no other way to read it.

Worrying scenes in the Channel today, for all interested in asylum policy and maritime tactics. A small boat from Normandy spent more than 30 hours at sea. Those on board now on their 2nd rescue vessel as Border Force forced to play cat and mouse with far-right activists who have their own boat.

This is why the media in this country needs regulating. I can guarantee there isn’t an iota of truth to anything that’s being said here. Their only intention is to keep this nonsense on top of the news agenda.

The last govt ensured that the police would routinely arrest non violent Palestine Action supporters, & non violent climate protesters for even discussing holding a demonstration. Why the fck are this govt, and the police, so terrified of actual violent, racist, and fascist thugs on our streets?

Cameras followed an anti-immigration protester in Crowborough, East Sussex, after plans to house up to 600 male asylum seekers in a former military camp

A short thread on “legitimate concerns”. The phrase is used repeatedly by UK government ministers. The Home Secretary is at it again this week. But only ever - as far as I can tell - in one context: people’s response to the arrival of asylum seekers. Please read whole 🧵before responding - thanks

I have several questions; 1: Why haven't 'Patriot Platform' been declared a terrorist group? Genocide protesters have been proscribed for doing a tonne less. 2: What happened to Public Order Acts? Specifically, the 2022 Act supposedly designed to prevent the blocking of roads and ports.
