For ages the balance was this- wizards makes cards for Magic the Gathering. Commander, a fan generated format, chooses how to use them and which cards to use. The problem started when wizards began making cards for *Commander* instead of for Magic the Gathering.

I guess I will continue not to play legacy. I really really wish they were more willing to remove things from the format, I get the feeling they don't want to ban things for players sake in regards to $ but I think the format is worse for it and the player base is shrinking which feels much worse
Stitch fix has perfected girl math. They give 25% off if you keep all 5 items in the box, so it's basically always worth it to keep all 5 unless you really only like 1 or 2 things. Just every time I get a box I snap off all 5 because look at the savings!

It's the only thing between Legacy players and a fun/healthy metagame after a year and a half of terrible play patterns brought on by consistent delayed ban action on obvious problems.

Jesse was my first friend in magic, we hung out at scg Indy in 2019 when we were both new to comp mtg. Honestly she set the bar too high for everyone else. Obviously she is cracked at magic, but she is also the nicest and coolest person I've met in the magic community and it's awesome to see her win
