Has Matt Taibbi always been such a self-righteous, self-important prick? At one point he was doing good reporting about kleptocracy, and he's generally right about media censorship, but now all he wants to do is crow about how badly all of us are misreading Trump. Seems like he wants in.

Consider the typical colonialist practice that Israelis deploy by coopting words and phrases in Arabic that are "cool." Israelis love to curse in Arabic because it's "slumming" and edgy. They say "mabsoot" and "ya'allah" while they full erase the culture these words came from. #colonialism #arabic
