Cowboy Bebop Knocking on Heavens Door is one of my favorite films ever made. The Japanese version doesn’t nearly have the same impact to me. Real human localizers took the Japanese words and worked their magic, maintaining the texture, but adding a superior flavor. We need human localizers ALWAYS

RIP Bobby Prince. His music legacy will live on, making inspired music for Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, DOOM, countless others. A true legend. And such a nice man, great musician, wonderful, fun-loving man, nothing but happy memories of him. A loss to the world.

DaVinci have it right with the way they implement machine learning (They say AI because it's the buzz word at the moment) to auto adjust audio levels, create masks and help with colouring. More of that and less of whatever this generative bs is!

I get using AI tools in film making for keying purposes, fixing small editing mistakes, or general clean up in special effects. But this? This is the worst possible use for AI in film. A set designer, seamstress, VFX artists, and/or an editor all missed out on a paycheck. The result? Useless trash.
