An enormous congratulations to each and every developer that worked with me on Strange Scaffold's very first driving game. (I'll tag them throughout the day.) This was one of the most challenging games that I've ever made, but I'm grateful for all of these talented devs for sticking the landing <3

Everyone’s asking what Nolan’s next big thing is when his business isn’t even done. He’s obviously gonna follow up with the Telegony which ends with Telemachus and Telegonus reenacting this song over the credits

Narrative rarely gets to be the high level decision driver outside of very specific kinds of projects and a lot of what narrative ends up doing, especially on larger projects, is unpacking the implications of decisions on emotional engagement

Wild Bastards (followup, but not sequel to Void Bastards) is a hugely underrated game, IMO. A cartoon space-western roguelite FPS with a ton of very varied playable characters and a great sense of humor. It's very different from its predecessors and people wanted more of the same, but it's good!

That’s Saros beaten. Absolute feast of a game. Unbelievable visuals and sound unifying the tightest and best-feeling combat I think I’ve ever encountered. Right now it’s my GOTY. If you own a PS5, I really can’t conceive of a reason not to get it.

There is nothing any developer can do to avoid right-wing ideologues, no level of acquiescence that will stave them off if they choose to target you, because they will just make shit up wholecloth! They're like CinemaSins looking for any reason to ding that bell; the "sin" is made-up post hoc.

“This game was targeted for harassment because it involved this person, or that person” No. Any game release that achieves any broad level of attention now will attract reactionary commentators and their harassment, because generating hatred is how they make their money. It’ll never be enough.
