He was having a mental health crisis. Memphis task force agents came and shot him
Jonah Neal, 25, was struck by a Homeland Security Investigations agent in May. There have been at least four deadly shootings related to the task force.

It’s worth mentioning in every news story that this deal is substantially worse for the US, and far more lucrative for Iran, than the Obama nuclear deal Trump blew up almost a decade ago.

Sadly, an angry ex has long been a common cause of deportation/family separation, which DHS encourages when promoting the ICE Tip Line on social media. Abusers, employers, and landlords also use it as a threat or a get out of jail free card for domestic violence or when workers get hurt on the job.

I’ve spent years, decades, obsessing over the Bush Administration’s Iraq WMD lies, writing about them, debunking them. I can think of no lie about Iraq WMDs told by Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al that comes even close to the enormity and absurdity of this lie from Donald Trump.

This is the aftermath of an ICE kidnapping a few blocks from my home in St. Paul—an hour ago. A quiet street full of broken glass and at least three wrecked cars. The target of the kidnapping was taken away by ambulance. He was on a stretcher and covered by a sheet, though a cop said he was alive.
It was probably difficult to foresee that Trump would put the Kennedy Center out of business.
