I can’t be the only one who gets unreasonably anxious during the mountain crossing in Pearl. It’s night at high elevation during an blizzard and you’re wearing a skirt! Girl, you’ll die!

Player sprite dimly visible in a swath of deep snow.

25% preorder sale takes MHA’s 2nd boxset down from $260 to $195. The war between girl math and actual math is at a stalemate. Save $65 on something I’ll want eventually vs. $195 is a lot of money for books I already own.

When I watched my dad’s old Star Trek tapes for the first time, I was particularly moved by the episode “Spock’s Brain” and rewatched it a bunch. It was years later before I knew it had achieved meme status online for how bad it is. Oh well. Happy 60th to Star Trek!

Explored Pokémon Bank a bit more than I have in the past as I sort through my collection prior to shutdown. Apparently there’s a stats page and I was never meant to know how many eggs I hatched in Y.

The eggs hatched page in bank recorded 7,042 hatchings in Pokémon Y.

I'm almost 40% the way to securing my housing, which means I'm also almost to the critical 50% point that will mean I can solidly pay a huge chunk of back rent, which will help me secure my housing and avoid insecurity. Please help me keep sharing so I can keep my accessible home!

I’m at a major crossroads: I have until 9/20 to fully secure my housing after an ongoing fight for unemployment and state support as a disabled person. And there’s a direct way that you can help have a tangible effect: you can help me keep my home.

I only recently learned that “Tohu vavohu” is the Hebrew from Genesis 1:2 that’s translated variously as “without form, and void”, “welter and waste”, “complete chaos”, etc. Kinda neat that I was able to recognize it in One Piece.

Imu launches an attack, shouting “Shield of Emptiness—Tohu Vavohu!!”

So Emma Woodhouse is a pretty girl who is pretty smart, pretty rich, and pretty much has no problems whatsoever. We’re off to a roaring start.

Thinking about the alternate universe where Viz got the home video rights for My Hero Academia. My stomach wouldn’t be in knots about whatever fresh horror will come whenever Sonyroll deigns to release the final season.
