Look, just because he died young, I'm not going to pretend I'm not aware that Glen Hansard groomed a teenager and had a well circulated reputation amongst heads and people in the music industry for chatting up teenage girls, and probably worse.
Adding to this…or adulthood. This idea from “estranged parent” groups that it’s adults simply misremembering their childhoods through a lens imposed on them by some therapist is so wild. It’s so often the parent’s ongoing abuse into adulthood that pushes adult children over the edge.

But if your parents harmed, damaged, or hurt you, you can stop speaking to them. You don't need to have clinical PTSD to have had a shitty childhood.

I can’t think of a single bigot who is not a weird freak, it’s just that many people don’t think of “hating children” as bigotry. It is, of course, every time.

Not only would this mean that primary carers (usually mothers) are banned from public places, but hey, maybe it's not ok to label an entire cohort of marginalised people as "obnoxious"? This was exactly why we had to make this video. Children belong in public space. They're people.
