At the moment I'm reading Margo's Got Money Troubles (very touching and funny), and A Memory Called Empire, which was heavy going in the first 20 pages of exposition, but is really gathering steam.

If I were Jake Dennis, I wouldn't stand under any hanging pianos with that kind of luck. He'd got the strategy exactly right, and it was old-school Formula E insanity that stopped him from winning.

We really can't have a Da Costa win the day after Trans Pride. It would be like a new JK Rowling tweet.

By the way, the Motion Racing Podcast is still a thing and has been making (imo) its best episodes ever all season, for the people who still watch Formula E.

I really, really like Alexa Rendell as a broadcaster. Her Formula E interviews always get something new out of drivers and team principals, and the WEC Icons series on YouTube shows her deep car knowledge.

How awful that someone would do this. On a day when people were expressing their true selves, someone else only had the answer of violence. Hopefully they throw away the key.

Apparently the official attendance today is 150,000 (compared with 100,000 last year) so a huge increase!

I have as big a problem with the people who won't pursue a neurodivergence diagnosis for their children when it's merited. I didn't test for one because I was told it would hurt my career, but I'm trans anyway, so there was always going to be something that did that. Testing early can really help.
