Very disappointing to see from those over at Internet Archive. For all they get trying to uphold the standard of digital conservation, this attitude is absolutely unacceptable. Nothing's truly archived when you put it on the internet and then forget about it. Always back up your content OFFLINE.

This person uploaded their PS2 demo discs to Internet Archive. They got "restricted" and he e-mailed IA asking for them to be unrestricted, they said "no" with no further explanation, and then removed his uploads and banned him when he kept asking what the deal was. www.youtube.com/watch?v=N25C...

This place is real, but it's also an amalgamation of memories. The way we remember a landscape can be very different from its literal appearance. Some things become larger and clearer, others smaller and fuzzier. 🧵

On my birthday Shinzo Abe was assassinated, when I went out one day Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I'm not saying there's inherent connection, but it seems whenever I am happy and enjoying life, good things happen.

Also, the book is really strong on both functional anatomy and on evolution, so there are loads of good diagrams on anatomical details and on variation within groups. I have never seen stuff like this in any book (with one or two exceptions), it's phenomenal. Oh, and...
