I just used a chainsaw for the first time! I think I violated half the safety regulations in the book (no safety pants, shoes, glasses or mask) but chainsaws are a lot less scary now :)

I sketch with almost no pressure with a hard pencil and then carve the lineart into paper with the same hard pencil. Then I erase the sketch(+)

Now that I think about it, I should probably not go through the trouble of dyeing the velvet when the black faux fur I also have would be a much better fit. Especially because the velvet is much less stiff, and not exactly heavy enough to really work with Crocodile's personality
