Artist for Marvel merchandise and Hasbro toys. Ennie nominated RPG artist. Rifts, Warhammer 40k, Spider-Man, Avengers, GI Joe, Transformers & Power Rangers.

This was a blank variant Amazing Spider-Man 800, in which Peter is reunited with the alien Symbiote for the first time since the 1980s. I wanted to do a Symbiote homage featuring Miles Morales, so I chose the cover of Marvel Team-Up 141, one of the first appearances of the Symbiote costume.

I created this new art at the request of a medical student in Australia named George Mann, who dresses up as “Dr. Spider-Man” and delivers toys to sick kids in the hospital. Check out his charity work on IG, Tik Tok, and YouTube.

After a long hiatus, my redesigned art site is online. It's far from complete. At the moment there are art galleries for my Books & Games covers, my Marvel art, and some GI Joe work. Future updates will include more GI Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers, and much more. www.scottjohnsonart.com

I finally finished Season 2 of Born Again. Including the original 2015 series, Daredevil has been the most consistently good Marvel Television series produced. In total, 5 seasons of street level vigilante storytelling at it's best.

I'm working on rebuilding my website from the ground up. It will include a massive art gallery of my work from the past 25 years. The most painstaking part so far has been tracking down images of specific Hasbro action figures that I've done art for in the last decade.

1/7 I know this is going to sound bizarre to most people, because they'll read this and think I'm not serious. But lately I've been going through a lot of artwork I did for Marvel 10-15 years ago and... I AM SO MUCH BETTER AS AN ARTIST NOW THAN I WAS BACK THEN.

Me: "This figure looks off. I better shrink that arm. Now the other arm is too big. Shorten that one too. Now the shoulders are too wide. Now the legs are too long. Shrink them too. Yes! PERFECT!" At this point I realize I could've had the same result by simply enlarging the head in the first place.
