In the North Carolina General Assembly, Carla Cunningham, Nasif Majeed, and possibly Shelly Willingham, all conservative Democrats who have voted to overturn Josh Stein's vetoes, are on track to lose their primaries. Look at God.

I created phonetonote.com before a roadtrip in 2020. working on some new things now, slowly. I have a day job in healthcare tech.
let's talk selfhosted/open-source bookmarking services! does anyone use hoarder/karakeep? i really like how it supports text notes, but the codebase looks a bit messy. e.g. those text notes are in the trpc backend but not the api. tons of open issues, don't think any about that
if you're a swe who thinks timezones are easy/solved, you likely have not worked on a hard timezone-related problem
phone-to-mcp seems obvious (text things to a number, claude is aware of those things) but i don't think i'd ever use it personally? chrome-to-mcp seems a little better since it could extract and ingest the link, but still...
what is soa for coding agent w very large context window? 120k-1m tokens vs cursor's 20kish limit. anything? or any models in cursor that work well at that size?
one weird trick just go like ``` YOU ARE A VERY IMPORTANT AGENT. IT IS YOUR DESTINY TO BE GREAT AND YOUR TIME TO BE GRAT IS NOW. YOUR JOB IS TO ```
balaji describing memecoins as zero/negative-sum raises an important question... is all of crypto zero/negative-sum? sbf describing crypto to matt levine on oddlots certainly comes to mind
claude just like me fr knows it should be a more specific enum, too lazy to remember how to do it in python and remembers its all a lie anyways, just uses `str` and sticks the specific types in a comment
using claude/cursor to build an MCP feature feels v "rite of passage"-y. especially bc it requires having a good way to get your the gist of your [[new thing]] in context for it to do a good job
vhs:betamax::react:(solid|svelte) because of the llm's this time!
i think the 2025 least-cursed webdev stack is: - tanstack start - clerk - hono api - d1 database - cf pages attached to workers convex and pocketbase are very compelling, haven't tried them in earnest rails and larvel are great if you know em
a useful AI abstraction has appeared!
Model Context Protocol (MCP) 🤝 @cloudflare.social Workers We're launching the workers-mcp tooling today to allow you to quickly build an MCP server on Workers. Anything you can do with a Worker you can now add into @anthropic.com Claude / any other MCP Client. www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbeO...
benioff talks an awful lot about ai for slackbot to not be llm-powered yet
in rails they changed the command from `rake task` to `rails task` but you still have to describe it as a `rake` task when describing such things with coworkers. nomenclature does not adhere to semver
best app/tool to take take notes while watching a video on macos? would like to tie each note to a time and/or place in the video. anything @nerdymomocat.bsky.social ?
pro display xdr being 5 years old just shows how crazy the upgrade cycles of iphones and ipads have gotten
one year before my brain falls apart, i would like to be bored enough to try AOC
Model Context Protocol is great and its kind of astonishing OAI didn't ship something like this first?
My notes doc at work is just a single Google Doc I truncate the end off once it starts to lag.
