My child came home from camp describing a movie they watched where “a man’s son falls into goop and he turns into Bigfoot but he doesn’t have a penis or vagina” and I honestly… don’t even WANT to know.

There’s a guy who wears a Spider-Man bodysuit in the park near my house and plays old standards on the saxophone, and not well. Except he has to cut out eye holes and a mouth hole, so he’s a grown man playing saxophone for people eating ice cream in what is effectively a Spider-Man gimp suit.

I have been impacted by the layoffs at Bungie/SIE. While today's news hurts, I do not have a single regret from my near 7 years here. I have grown so much as a Producer and a person and it's because of the people I worked with.

Well, I've been affected by the Bungie layoffs, and I guess I'm now looking for work. I'm a senior narrative designer on Destiny 2. I'm going to thread a little list of stuff I've done on the game; normally I go out of my way to avoid attention, but today I'd appreciate reposts.

It says a lot about the capitalist games machine that Destiny 2's final update were created with such love, respect, and care for the game and the community it built. The team worked to give it an incredible sendoff that will hopefully live on for years after it stops being updated...
