This week has been a bit of a mess overall. From my work shift not changing for ‘reasons’ until next week, to a mix up of appointment days for a Jen thing, to stormy weather causing a lot of barometer flux. I’m going to call and audible and hold off on streams till the weekend. Puppet needs rest.

It really is fascinating that businesses are STILL trying to adopt GenAI despite the fact that it is clearly failing to produce any meaningful savings for them. Not only that, but the public backlash against it has been STAGGERING. It is a money losing proposition.

I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

I appreciate every repost, every comment and like. It's hard doing this on your own. I don't have an agency backing me, and sometimes it feels like pulling teeth to get any kind of traction. People kind of assume once you hit partner or a certain amount of followers that shit gets easy. It doesn't.
