often I don't know what's actually going on in an image until after I've finished drawing it the story is in the alt text, but can you guess?
I haven't drawn mechs very much lately, but I did once make a #LANCER pilot and his mech in blender... "FISHHEAD," and his swallowtail frame "THE FOSS"
a selection of SCROOKS i have made the past couple of weeks: SLOASH, the island mimic that takes advantage of grazers who clean it of its parasitic mosses GAVOOD, aquatic ancestor of the GAVORN EWW, a disease that compels the afflicted to build perfect angular structures
I consider myself lucky to have varied interests that inform my artwork, but if i didn't put my projects on hold with every new shiny idea i think i'd have gotten at least one finished by now lol. Not a unique problem by any means, but gah damn
#kaijune 02 - OSPEANOS Earth's second kaiju was spotted nearing the island of Inishbofin, in Ireland. That's when the light-giant now designated "RHO" made its first appearance, dispatching the kaiju in short notice. OSPEANOS never made landfall.
#kaijune 01 - RIDORIS In early 2026, Earth's first kaiju appeared in Japan's Kitan Strait. Fishing crews attempting to rid the strait of a particularly nasty algal bloom with ozone unknowingly aggravated the kaiju, which had been using the unique algal bloom as an external digestive system.

These first encounters were low-concentration plasma with little to no solidity, unlike the subsequent "ultra" encounters of 2026 and beyond.
I wanna apologize to my writer friends who use the em dash, I took it as a sure-fire sign of slop until I actually looked up how it's used... I mean i still think it's a good indicator but I have to stop myself from using it sometimes in place of parentheses
