Last Thursday, the Supreme Court ruled in a 6-3 decision in Mullin v. Doe and Trump v. Miot to end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 350,000 Syrian and Haitian people. All San Diego and Imperial Valley residents should have the right to live safe and happy lives without fear.
Our country was founded on the guarantee that we’re all born equal with certain inalienable rights. We won't let any president, or anyone, get away with attacking it.
On this historic 4th of July, we’re recommitting to our defense of our most fundamental rights and freedoms. Speaking out about government abuses is foundational to who we are as a country. We’ll keep performing our patriotic duty of speaking truth to power in defense of all of our rights.
