There was an attempted kidnapping in our neighborhood last year where dude blocked traffic, tried to pull on the crowd, and then dropped his gun and screamed at everyone basically asking for a timeout. More people will die until they're stopped. Many more people than we know about have been killed.

Today, ICE murdered Joan Sebastian Guerrero in Maine. Once again, a family, friends, and community are left carrying the unimaginable weight of a life taken. There are no words that can fully honor the gravity of this moment or the profound loss.
This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.
Even with local protections, organizers in cities including Chicago and Minneapolis warn that a major deployment of ICE or CBP agents to a city feels overwhelming; they've mobilized to form rapid-response networks and trainings, and respond to basic needs.

California’s sanctuary laws mostly prohibit local law enforcement from assisting with immigration enforcement, but they allow county sheriffs to transfer detained immigrants to ICE custody in some cases. In San Diego, those transfers spiked last year.

San Diego County goes 60/40 for Dems but has a Republican District Attorney because the DA election is non-partisan and it's not worth enough to anyone to send mail out that says "she is a Republican" to 3 million people. So we get results like this absurd "antifa" prosecution.

This is BIG. After spending over $1 BILLION on the purchase of multiple commercial warehouses that ICE planned to convert into the largest jails/prisons in the nation, ICE is now largely abandoning the idea and will aim to sell off multiple warehouses at a loss.
