🍵 The neighbors are launching fireworks. At first I thought they were just confused about what holiday it was. But on second thought they might actually be aiming for Santa Claus. It makes sense -shoot down the sleigh, steal the presents, get rich
🐸 Sometimes we feel like we're the exact kind of person you'd expect to end up as a shut-in. So instead of doing that, we leave the apartment. Visit places, message people close to us, anything really to remember there's more to do with your life than losing yourself in your own head
👒 nice thing about living in a small apartment: only takes a few seconds to turn on the lights and check behind every corner for slashers
🪤 Poltergeist SUCKED. Slightly scarier than the Disney World Haunted Mansion Ride. And we thought, "Hey, maybe it was scarier back then. Maybe people weren't used to the special effects." But Nightmare on Elm Street was in 1984. Exorcist was 1973. Poltergeist had no excuse
🪤 We get why some feel disappointed when a story tells you "oh, they're just step-siblings" as a way to pull punches. But we think it's a mistake to automatically dismiss step-sibling romance as not the "real thing."
