The owner doesn’t consent to this designation and per state law that is that. Period. The state passed the law because cities like Seattle maliciously used landmarking to bleed owners dry and to delay development and change. This is undemocratic and illegal

There's a section on my bike commute that's a steep downhill leading to a stoplight. The speed limit is 25mph and I'm frequently going 28-30mph, and sometimes take the lane to pass a stopped bus. NOTHING makes drivers more aggressive, even though we inevitably end up stopped at the same light.
