I’ve been continuing tagging photos of historical markers in @wikicommons.bsky.social and 8 months in, we’ve just tagged over 4000 photos with our Lua-powered template. I did some analysis and I’m a bit surprised that the rate of tagging has been pretty consistent at ~500 photos per month! 📈👍️

Reacting with a “haha” or laughing emoji, such as in Facebook, Telegram, Discord, or Slack, could be ambiguous depending on context—you could either be laughing at the poster or laughing with the poster. 😅

I’m continuing experimenting with this topographic map style and here’s one for the French Caribbean island of Saint-Barthélemy 🇫🇷. France’s IGN provides DEM with a horizontal resolution of 1 metre so I wondered how my map style workflow would look like for smaller islands. Comments are welcome! 🙏

To carry 50,000 people per hour in each direction, a city needs a 175m wide road for cars. Even if those cars are electric. And then there’s all the parking. OR a city can move A LOT MORE people in a lot less space, with A LOT LESS public money, emissions, pollution, noise etc. Choices. Simple.
