This is a fantastic statement from Labour's rainbow spokesperson Georgie Dansey (who i don't think is on bsky yet!). I've been critical of the way Labour have talked about trans issues so here's me giving credit where it's due again - this is exactly what we need to see from them, thank you Georgie!

The dumbest (and therefore most probable?) outcome: Trump develops a liking for Maduro after spending time with him in person, then lets him go back to being president of Venezuela.
A billion dollars is the socio-economic equivalent of a loose nuke, and we should work to prevent the acquisition of the former with the same urgency and ruthlessness we use to prevent the acquisition of the latter.
