Some exciting news: the latest missive from Coyote’s Balearic edits imprint, Magic Wand, has now landed in stores. It includes ‘Six Blade Scalpel’, a suitably heady and laidback rework by yours truly. Lots of other ace stuff on there too.

100 % agree with this one - one of my former bosses did this multiple times, screwing over freelancer writers and photographers and the magazine’s printers, who subsequently went out of business. He did it again when I won a tribunal case against him and he was ordered to pay me £23,500
Doing a phoenix - i.e. buying back the assets of your own failed, liquidated business to start up a new identical venture, is a gross misuse of Ltd company protections and should be illegal.
The latest Elon Space X nonsense (“bases on the moon staffed by humanoid robots!”) just made me think of this Simpsons bit youtu.be/CKUpG2Obgas

It is a touch depressing that the scale of Reform’s obvious corruption will be shrugged off by many as “they’re all the same”. Yes, corruption can be found across the spectrum, but at nowhere near the level of Reform. It’s a financial crime syndicate cosplaying as a political party

"[Byline] revealed that Cottrell entered corporate finance under a false Swiss identity, hired by the same City network that produced Reform UK’s own treasurer, Mehrtash A’zami. "Byline Times has since confirmed that this identity was stolen from a real person – Cottrell’s old school friend."
Sad news about Bill Oddie. Strangely, he features in my ongoing research info free party culture in East Anglia. According to various members of the Brains Kan crew, Bill made an accidental appearance at one one their events, after stumbling on it during a sponsored walk. Stayed for a bit (1/2)
Accompanied my uncle to the Senior Open golf at Gleneagles. Can’t say I am a golf buff (which he certainly is) but have enjoyed walking the course and soaking up the atmosphere. Pleasing lack of idiots shouting “get in the hole”, which is a definite bonus
“Freaky deaky or what?” Get hyped with Lex Loofah and enjoy more bounce to the ounce #RaveyardShift youtu.be/16jxXQCvQoM?...

Sky News spending quite a lot of time discussing the lack of a lectern in Downing Street for Burnham’s first address. Classic airtime filling. Apparently it signals a “big shift” 🙄
Nice to see Trump has a face like a smacked arse. Good! Looks like Spain ruined his day. Delicious
For LOLs as part of the award ceremony, Messi should be forced to give Lamine Yamal a bath
love them or loathe them, there's one thing you can't deny about the Argentinian football team: they're a bunch of cunts
That was like the football equivalent of basketball. Insane. Still, a far more fun game (admittedly with nothing riding on it) than tomorrow’s final will likely be
Well, if I was French I’d be a bit miffed - their players appear not to be arsed at all. Quite nice to see England ruthlessly exploiting that malaise/disinterest though
The White House spokesman is relaxed about the banner held by the Argentina team. It's a freedom of speech issue, apparently. Wonder if the US administration would be as relaxed if Lamine Yamal borrowed Janet's on Sunday?
In other news, water is wet, Pope head of the Catholic Church, bears enthusiastically defecate in forested areas etc etc
Johnson government wasted ‘vast’ sums on PPE, Covid inquiry finds
For England fans, the best news of last night wasn’t the hard fought (and perhaps fortunate) win over Norway, but rather that we won’t have to listen to Sam Matterface and Lee Dixon commentate on the semi-final. A nation rejoices
What an absolutely insane Wimbledon campaign Arthur Fery is having. Wildcard, very low ranking, goes on a run and has now won his first grand slam quarter final in straight sets, winning the third set 6-0. Astonishing stuff
It definitely feels like FIFA are rather keen on Messi (sorry, Argentina) ending up in the final of this particular World Cup. Hmm.
Does Farage seem to think that by resigning and then standing again the investigations will magically disappear?
So Farage’s defence seems to be “I know I do crooked things but I should be able to do whatever I like”. Very Trumpian
5 Live running Farage’s “statement”. Usual grievance “wah wah wah” bollocks. Anyone who falls for this drivel is beyond help.
Unless the announcement is “I have decided to end my life by popping off to Dignitas” the tobacco-stained traitor will still hang around like a bad smell poisoning our politics
Nigel Farage says he will make a statement "on my future in public life" at 2pm
Still buzzing from the #MEXENG match overnight, even if my head does feel like it is full of cotton wool after weird sleep patterns and not enough post match snoozing. An insane game and a fine England performance - worth the 5am finish! Now roll on the space disco Vikings of Norway on Saturday!
