Intense morning at St Ives yesterday - Barolo S, dark juv LT Skua, 2 Wilson’s, 3 Leach’s, 30 ESP, 3 Grey Phal, juv Sabine’s, 4 Great Shear, 2 Cory’s, 19 Sooty, 30k Manx, 27 Arctic Skua, 3 Bonxie, Black Tern & good turnout. Today - Clodgy’s 2nd Wryneck in a week & other goodies #cornwallbirding
August Peninsula total 149 birds, five above average, but one less than last year. Year to date total now 205 which is two behind last year's record total at the same date, but four above average. Only addition this month was Pied Flycatcher.

3 days at Porthgwarra / Pendeen, West Cornwall was enjoyable - highlights 1 Band-rumped Storm-petrel this morning - enjoyed by many, 10 Sabine's Gulls, 2 juv LT Skua, 20 Great Shears, 100+ Cory's - I spent rather too much time scanning Manx lines today for Barolo, without success!
A rare 3 Skua day @sandwichbirdobs.bsky.social. A dainty dark morph juv Long-tailed Skua getting as good as it gave, then 3 Arctics one of which pursued Sarnies over the shore. In the afternoon, a dark Pomarine barrelled thru. Back at base a Kind of Blue moff here in Birdland #TeamMoth #KentBirding

Decent passage again this morning with a Sooty Shearwater, 17 Arctic Skua, 210 Med Gull, two Black Tern, 200 Common Tern and 1820 Sandwich Tern going east. The first dabblers of the autumn headed west with 72 Teal and six Wigeon. An Osprey was touring the recording area early morning. #kentbirding
