Boom! Both houses of the CA Legislature today approved my SB 1350, groundbreaking legislation that would significantly expand the use of green hydrogen, a clean-energy gamechanger. Big thanks to Green Hydrogen Coalition & State Building and Construction Trades Council of CA for sponsoring SB 1350.

Good news! The California Assembly today unanimously approved my SB 1058, Local Meals for Kids. SB 1058 would update California law to allow school districts to provide more high-quality, locally grown and culturally appropriate foods for students. Next stop, the governor's desk.

What a day! The CA Assembly Utilities and Energy Committee today approved my SB 1196, which would accelerate utility hookups of ADUs & other small projects. Vote was 16-0. Big thanks to the Casita Coalition for testifying in support of the bill today.

More good news! The CA Assembly Utilities and Energy Committee today unanimously approved my SB 1168, Data Centers Pay Their Fair Share. SB 1168 would direct the CPUC to examine data centers’ use of excessive amounts of energy and ensure we don’t face rate hikes as a result.
