GOD IM GIGGLING SO HARD AT SOME OF THESE. THIS ART IS SO COOL!!

Wanted to practice some mouse art just to draw alternative history yuri lets go (Historical Columbia's design was lifted from @sepulchrypha.bsky.social go follow them) #monumentmythos #worldwarmythology #mythologicaltourism #fanart #art #wlw #yuri #toxicyuri

A drawing of Historical Medusa suspended in midair and craning her head back to look towards the viewer. The background is surrounded by cracks reminiscent of those in stone.

Retekol Havoc @retekolhavoc.bsky.social · 9mo ago

A comic of Historical Medusa sneering while rubbing her hands deviously. In the first panel, she laughs and says, "Pity the Americans built you a statue, I'll gladly make you one of your likeliness!" towards Historical Columbia. In the next panel, Columbia, drawn as the autism creature, says nothing in response and stares blankly.

A shitpost comic featuring Historical Columbia and Historical Medusa. In the first panel, Medusa is wearing horns and says to Columbia, "Do you notice anything different American?" Columbia responds, "What are you, some Horned Serpent?" In the second panel, a door opens, revealing a portrait of George Washington declaring, "DID SOMEONE SAY-" Medusa looks shocked while Columbia is confused.

A rendered drawing of Historical Columbia holding the decapitated head of Historical Medusa. Columbia is wearing a cloak but her right side is uncovered and her right arm is scarred with claw marks. She holds her sword towards Medusa's head, which is still covered in blood, with a stern expression. Medusa still bears her teeth and her eyes look directly towards the viewer. Below is a picture featuring a statue of Perseus holding the head of Medusa in a similar fashion.

I did a doodle of MT Medusa and I think she's going to be so fun to design tweak a little, I just love snake themed characters so much. I can't help but make her features more striking and reptilian. I've been making snake ocs since age 14 so this is hitting my primordial brain.

ok so did anyone think they'd look cute together or is that just me 💔 #monumentmythos #worldwarmythology #mythologicaltourism #art #illustration #wlw #yuri #toxicyuri

A drawing of the characters Historical Columbia and Historical Medusa from the Mythological Tourism series engaging in a fight, both enshrined in shadow. Columbia has her sword against Medusa's throat while grabbing her hair. Medusa, laughing hysterically, tries to grab at Columbia's face. Columbia looks surprised.

A David Lynch quote for every creative person who may need it today. It resonated with me when I came across it reading it in Lynch on Lynch.

" No, it wasn't. What makes you worry about things like that is when you start thinking about what certain people might say about it later. Because you're not really sure what they might say. And if you start worrying, you could make some really strange decisions based upon that worry. The work isn't talking to you any more; this worry is talking to you. And you become paralysed. So the trick is: you've got to forget making a hero or a fool of yourself and just try to get into that world. and if you can do that, and you feel good about the decisions that you make, then you can weather whatever good or bad storm comes along. " - David Lynch in 'Lynch on Lynch'.

Why do you think that it sings? Whose attention does it cry for? What could something so beautiful want of you, that it would call for you so desperately? If it is alive, then it must eat. #mythologicaltourism #krita #illustration #horrorart #fanart #digitalart

real talk i do think the success of things like amazing digital circus and knights if guinevere (among others) and people just posting their ocs online feels like a sign to me (online at least) that the streets are down to give original work a shot + you just gotta be obsessed and genuine abt it all
