New paper: Are proper functions normative?

I'm pleased to announce that my paper Are proper functions normative? has been accepted for publication in THEORIA. You can download a preprint here. Are proper functions normative? In this paper, I try to answer this question. Acknowledging that the notion of normativity is too ill-defined to afford a categorical yes/no answer, I proceed by attempting to identify arguments for an affirmative answer and trying to articulate what conception of normativity they rely on: what "normativity" has to be, in order for these arguments to work.

Isso aqui foi bem deselegante mesmo. Fico admirada de o Messi se prestar a tal papel, sendo um atleta experiente e que fez a maior parte de sua carreira em um clube espanhol. There is a standard format for general philosophy of mind courses which goes: first there was dualism, then (300 years later) behaviourism (quickly refuted by Putnam) then identity theory (ditto) then functionalism then the problem of consciousness, and maybe intentionality. The end.
