It’s been genuinely exhausting watching people get dog pilled and shit on for menial shit. I’ve seen this energy focused at the right spaces and people only a handful of times. It’s exhausting seeing it burn other people out of the scene to the point of not come back to get on anymore.

A lot would benefit from going outside and enjoying the sun, nature, a river, a lake, etc for just an hour or two. Way too many tie their self worth to vrchat, you have a life to live that isn’t just inside a microwave on your head. A healthy balance exists.

Performative people are so exhausting

One thing I’m so incredibly grateful is the new job I got this year brought back my love and passion for IT / helping people. Everyone’s so nice and kind all the time. Even when it’s something dumb, or a user error. I’m just happy to help / that the issue was a quick fix for the person.

I think one of the worst things I did for my enjoyment of the vrc scene was making social media to keep up with it. The biweekly discourse over the years has soured my enjoyment almost completely, sadly. I miss just getting on and enjoying it and hearing the positive from friends / acquaintances.
