I’ve been attending fly meetings since grad school—nearly 20 times—and it’s one of my favorite conferences. Sharing our work, hearing exciting research, and connecting with a welcoming, supportive community makes it special. As a #Dros27 organizer, I’m excited to help make it another great meeting!

We held the 2nd Fly Bayou Symposium in New Orleans last week—so great to reconnect in person and hear exciting research! What began in 2020 as a small local network has grown to 36 labs across 14 states. Grateful to see this community thrive and support each other! 🪰
