Why MLK was not a communist: "Read Lenin and as he says: lying, deceit, violence, withholding and concealing the truth are all justifiable means to bring about the classless society. This is where non-violence breaks with communism and any other system which argues that the end justifies the means…"

And it also says that you can work for that which is morally right with means that are right. You
can work to secure moral ends through moral means. One of the great philosophical debates of history
has been over the question of ends and means. And there have been those who have argued that the
ends justifies the means. I think the great weakness and tragedy of communism is right here. Read
Lenin and as he says: lying, deceit, violence, withholding and concealing the truth are all justifiable
means to bring about the end of the classless society. This is where non-violence breaks with
communism and any other system which argues that the end justifies the means, because somehow the
end is pre-existent in the means and immoral means cannot bring about moral ends. And this is what
non-violence says.

In DSA’s presentation on socialism, the example of a successful socialist country was Cuba, one of the world’s worst dictatorships. People need to listen to what they actually say instead of fantasizing about Scandinavian prosperity.

With something so old, it is difficult to be innovative. Still, two innovations emerged from the Russian police state: The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, a conspiracy theory about Jews secretly ruling the world, and Soviet-style anti-Zionism, which depicts Israel as the embodiment of evil.

The peculiar Russian form of antisemitism, as expressed in the Protocols, directly influenced Hitler and the Nazis. It was further reinforced by being laundered through Henri Ford. Russian monarchist immigrants in Germany and America blamed the Russian Revolution on a Jewish conspiracy.

Thanks in no small part to smears and innuendo from Sanders and his supporters, voters viewed Trump as more honest and trustworthy than Clinton. We shouldn’t forget this.

CLINTON: Yeah, but I -- I think it's fair to really ask what's behind that comment. You know, Senator Sanders has said he wants to run a positive campaign. I've tried to keep my disagreements over issues, as it should be.
But time and time again, by innuendo, by insinuation, there is this attack that he is putting forth, which really comes down to -- you know, anybody who ever took donations or speaking fees from any interest group has to be bought.
And I just absolutely reject that, Senator. And I really don't think these kinds of attacks by insinuation are worthy of you. And enough is enough. If you've got something to say, say it directly.
But you will not find that I ever changed a view or a vote because of any donation that I ever received.

This New York Times article, which ran a week before Christmas last year, didn’t get the attention it deserved. It detailed Trump and Epstein's predatory behavior toward women – “a game of ego and dominance” in which “female bodies were currency.” Here’s a gift link and a thread. 1/6🧵

‘Don’s Best Friend’: How Epstein and Trump Bonded Over the Pursuit of Women (Gift Article)

The president has tried to minimize their friendship, but documents and interviews reveal an intense and complicated relationship. Chasing women was a game of ego and dominance. Female bodies were cur...

Because this was always an effort to take the blame away from Trump, who was U.S. President when a devastating pandemic swept through our country. Blaming Fauci allowed the GOP to redirect blame away from Trump.

The press talked about it like Biden speaking slower and more softly meant his brain had fallen out of his head. And like the fact that Trump constantly shouted angry nonsense was proof of his youthful vigor. It was absurd then, and it’s even more absurd now.

How many people remember that Bernie’s 2016 campaign strategist previously worked with Paul Manafort, Trump’s 2016 strategist, to install a Putin puppet in Ukraine? They had the same task in the US. The only difference is that Trump paid nothing to Manafort, while Sanders paid $10 million to Devine.

What’s a Bernie Sanders Strategist Doing in the Manafort Files?

Tad Devine’s presence in Mueller’s case against Manafort smells less like collusion than it reeks of the swamp.
