omg I despise working on the weekend but my chapter is hanging together! Somewhat! I am working on it due to travel and also bc I am going to a grad's party today where she is hosting an open mic. Would love feedback on it from my writing community.
Here's a late entry for last week's #ShowMeYourKnits theme of tools: my NXTPAPER 14 tablet, which I also use for sheet music, and the #KnitCompanion app. It makes charts really approachable for my brain that quickly gets overwhelmed with too much visual info. The big screen is a winner, too.
Finished The Anthropologists by Ayşegül Savaş last night and immediately wanted to start it again from the beginning. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT BOOK #booksky
It's #showmeyourknits 2nd birthday, and a it's so nice I made it twice theme! 💕🧶 The first photo has 3 of my all time favourite knits, I've knitted these at least 3 times each and the second one is my favourite designer and three pair of mitts that I've knitted twice! Patterns in comments ☺️
I'm at the park, reading, and a woman with an accent said to me, "Oh, you're a reading worm". I love that construction. It's so poetic when second-language folks speak. I did not correct her because reading worm is better than bookworm.
the rule is always get a basket of fries for the table, even if you're having breakfast for dinner
Thanks, RSA leaders, for saying it. I hope the powers that be at @ncte.org are listening to their peers more carefully than they seem to be listening to their members.

pleased that my Superman-ability to "see"/pinch out exactly $25, 50, 100 dollar bills at a time from my bartender/head waiter days 25 years ago has infiltrated my ability to pinch out the correct # of mental health drugs for a week for my Gramma/pa Pill Organizers💊
I'm pleased with my geraniums this year - they've been flowering for weeks. #garden #Devon #geraniums
OMG I am loving this thread. My 1983(?) kindergarten lunchbox was this yellow Cabbage Patch Kids combo. Those literal cabbage heads made me blink twice
VINTAGE LUNCHBOX MEGATHREAD! There is something deeply, nostalgic about the artwork on old lunchboxes. They meet at the crossroads of childhood, food, pop culture, & school/friends. Every day, for as long as I feel like, I'll be adding a new lunchbox to this thread! TMNT-1989 (My first lunchbox!)

v thankful to live in a 1200sf house today (cleaning things). Also that it has rooms and not some open floor plan: that would stress me out. I like closure when I finish an area. Doors. Walls. Planning to get the dining room (my desk) and living room perfect today.🧹🫧🪟
have the recurring nightmare that I’m late to a shift at Fred Meyer or Kroger and can’t clock in. What is that. Or I forget to see if I’m on the schedule. And it always meshes w my real current life, like when I’ll be out of town/forgetting to ask off.
I don’t have the energy to describe how corrosive this will be to a democratic society
