the defining characteristic of decentralised open social networks is that the majority of service providers will be strictly regulatory compliant. complaining about a large provider being ultra cautious is stupid, the only real question is if there are enough alternative providers

i hate the constant bickering between bsky users and moderation in most cases the hate seems only based on the previous bad rep that they have gathered by trying to uphold whats enforceable and trying to make this place civil the dissonance of wanting people to be banned for breaking rules while...

maybe i should redesign my mod tool to be based more of the ozone endpoints while extending/replacing whatever doesn't fit my taste/use case i really dont feel like im doing good job while working on it, so if i do the above at least ill maybe be more confident? designing mod tooling is hard

I want Dollware's Porxie instance to be good enough to use for any atproto app out there, including alternate Bluesky clients I’m assuming the blockers for most are 1) they’ve not even heard of Porxie/The instance I’m hosting publicly 2) Speed? 3) Missing features in Porxie itself?
