I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

Someone the other days was making the case that a Jedi / lightsaber was an essential part of making a story seem Star Wars, and that is so dependent on when you were introduced to it, because expanded storytelling from ‘77-‘98 didn’t do it that often.

Got an email from Battle.net asking me to verify my age since I'm in the UK. I'm baffled they are asking for this when my account itself is literally old enough to be an adult. On top of that I already showed them my ID in 2019. The "no common sense allowed" thing frustrates me the most.

I've been playing SWTOR since launch and only today did I discover that on Korriban, you don't HAVE to go through the Tomb of Ajunta Pall every time; there's a lift to just go up to the next level. I can't believe I missed that for this long. 🤣

I noticed I rarely seem to have to fight people for the slot machines whenever I go for my daily spin in SWTOR now. Are they less popular by now or is there some new hangout other than the Nar Shaddaa casinos and the VIP lounge on the fleet?
