This shit worries me deeply. My sister's husband and his family are all haittian descent and I already worry about their safety since the last vitriolic thing about them and somalians was broadcast by the resident pants-shitter. They dont deserve this.

We are a broken nation. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians were living and working legally, paying taxes, and contributing. Haiti remains wholly unsafe. But Trump hates Haitians, and the White House wanted videos of Black people in chains, so they stripped them of status and turned on the cameras.

Shower thought: Ive noticed that it is hard to talk to people about black issues without being shutdown immediately. What we go through is often dark, sad, or frustrating and yet we are silenced for making people uncomfortable. This is my reality and I dont get to sidestep or handwave it away. 1/x

Is everyone aware of the General Motors streetcar conspiracy? In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

all of contemporary transphobia feels so manufactured and fake and it's hard to explain how and why to people who haven't felt it happen at them but like people used to not like Really Care; there were shitty people but like no one built their life around being transphobic
