my goal in life is to make people search "<weird abbreviation containing slashes> meaning tech 2026" each and every time they interact with me

Meanwhile I'm over here announcing my own /36 via BGP, running NAT66 failover on my WG tunnels, and building anycast infra across continents -- all on IPv6. Today I disabled IPv6 on my home router entirely. There are (sadly) too many devices and services with obscure bugs when it's enabled, and I'm tired of playing whack-a-mole sysadmin just to keep a full IPv6 stack. I'm not sure we'll ever see full IPv6 adoption.

Other apps: Yeah we are going to need... $500K in funding, so donate!! Padding Labs and Scan: a $5 dono to cover my coffee expenses will do, thanks, i love you

Telia Carrier can change their name as many times as they want. I'll always be able to spot them fucking my overseas connections.

It was the worst of times, it was the worst of times, and calling it anything else was considered a civic duty. Truth still existed, technically, but it had been reclassified as a nuisance--something to be managed, contextualized, and buried beneath statements reminding us not to jump
