Just came across two ex-colleagues commenting on LinkedIn that Thatcher would have sorted out “our countries appalling state of affairs” and that “we would all be getting along much more nicely towards each other” if she was still in charge. FML, apart from being in Europe, that’s a deluded take!

The UK is heading backwards, with the sentiment of hope that this current government brought with it now flushed downstream and polluted by the slurry of Reform and the far right. We need to keep an eye out and stand up for those around us who must be feeling so vulnerable right now.
