reflexive evade– violence too great for mere flesh to tolerate
thousand-gee acceleration crushes her bones, but the shipmind feels nothing
koi ascending to quicksilver lakesurface meets its own reflection
pond surface— a fish rises through two worlds #haiku #poetry
soft-murmured solace, knifetip eagerly seeking cleft between two ribs
Killing you, ever So softly, with tenderness I drive the knife in
once, a close friend told me if you know the color of their eyes it’s already too late 💙✨💞 my debut full-length poetry collection, coming Sept 1 from Raging Opossum Press (cover by Chris Gleason)
tenuous mothwings fringed in their immolation kindle, as they fall
Burnt wings cannot fly!
concealed beneath tongue, trifling denomination– can’t take with you
Slight return - loose change jangling in his pocket
tangled confusion of pleasantly-aching limbs; which belong to who?
good morning to tangled sweat
effluent-drenched wings chemically eroded; flightless agony
sleep-sludge on silent wing, oil-slick downy feathers fall; stripped to mere skin
artfully tacit, serrated promises let curdle on her tongue
silence-gulped whisper; smiling lips slyly withhold what will happen next—
draped in tarpaulin, heart under renovation; please excuse the dust
Putting scaffolding around your heart to restore it.
less than the sum of these strewn, disjointed pieces’ inchoate tally
in wreckage there is no distinction between two broken and one whole
labyrinthine turns, endlessly bewildering uncharted vastness
a maze with no exit.
digitalis-stilled heartbeat; poisoner’s fingers daintily spotless
IN LACE&IN LONG SLEEP
by implication, the aching lacuna of your touches’ absence,
irreplaceable pattern of the body's form like an aching gap,
silvered gossamer awaiting; & all the light touches, it severs
spent and unangeled sewing a hex in the field: “kill me in moonlight”
exploratory incision, trailing across first flesh, then metal–
third date idea: there is a bomb inside me and I don't know where, but ive heard its clock ticking since the day I was born can you find it?
sip dark-roast coffee, ponder interminably– same again next week?
inscrutably pink some questions have no answers I’ll call you next week
hightension cables; heavenly birdstrike, twitching scorched-feather acrid
dont mean to alarm you but your guardian angel is all tangled up in the power lines outside
On Saturday, I will be swimming a mile for Hospice. If you are in a position to donate, please consider doing so at the link below. The local Hospice is amazing, and I want to help them continue to provide much needed help. secure.qgiv.com/event/swimam...

over and again, throw yourself against the wall until something gives
Pushing my body Learning where my limits are Sneaking around them #haiku #senryu
fluid gossamer momentarily bridging eagerparted lips
dried out bloodcrack lips spit in my mouth and fuck me to rehydration
airless scrabbling claw; bloodslick metamorphosis, polymer-cocooned
I should be covered in blood and wrapped in plastic rn
disturbed scavengers flee their carrion banquet, blackfeathered smokeplume
ravens rise like smoke what remains after their wings cannot be spoken #haiku
what a revenant is, is something that resists its rightful ending
The moon's love lights my path, traveler. Whose blessings do you bear? A broken halo, a worn sword—no. You are nothing. Your death will be a mercy.
