once, a close friend told me if you know the color of their eyes it’s already too late 💙✨💞 my debut full-length poetry collection, coming Sept 1 from Raging Opossum Press (cover by Chris Gleason)

the front cover for IF YOU KNOW THE COLOR OF THEIR EYES IT’S ALREADY TOO LATE by Bridget Gordon. the cover depicts two nude femme figures, embracing while suspended in mid-air, set amidst an apricot-hued frame with vine motifs, more nude femmes, and stars. just outside the illustration frame is someone’s skin, suggesting that this depicts an ornate back tattoo.

🦌✨MORE LIVE ERI APPEARANCES✨🦌 I will be a featured reader at the POÏSONS Reading Series in Chicago on Friday, November 6th! with an open mic to follow!

Ken Jennings is not a trans ally, because if he actually talked to and cared about trans people he would have known exactly how bad it was going to be for that woman he put on blast. He's either ignorant or he knew what he was doing.

To be visibly trans right now is to again and again surface from an endless depth of cold, murky water; it would be easier to let go and drown and never be seen again, but you cannot forget that someone on the shore is waiting for you.
