When I first listened I was whatever on it but later I was in a very rough spot in life and songs like Roman Candles and the title track got me thru it by being excellent soundtracks to just reflect on life to. You should listen to this album, it's very good! Their best work in years even.

I got Reveal on vinyl and even though it’s not a strong R.E.M. album (it barely sounds like one!), it’s nostalgic for me. It’s the first CD of theirs I bought on release. Listening to it again, it’s remarkable how even very direct lyrics can evolve with you as you change. Presented without comment.
