I came away with a flower, and a who was doing pull-ups on the streetcar said he loved my flower. (He actually said “I fuck with your flower.” I knew what he meant.) He thought it was lavender. “Hyacinth,” I corrected him. I didn’t make any references to Keeping Up Appearances, though (IYKYK).
Jeremy Hansen deserves an Order of Canada, which I guess is a pretty obvious thing to say.
