I wanted to use these round pendants but it didn’t work as well on the final piece as I liked. So I added more of the half round smaller pieces on the side instead.

Had fun at Armadillocon. I had a table in the dealers room where on Saturday I was able to set up and let people play with ink for the ghost of my friends @journeyplanet.bsky.social planet issue and make tiaras.

I sent my art on to Oakland for world fantasy in October. But I have Armadillocon this weekend ;) So I have been busy making new jewelry today.

On the @laworldcon.bsky.social discord I offered to send out a small envelope with some stickers, ribbons and a small sketch to those who attended virtually :). The packages went out today :). Tried to make sure that those online got a chance for some freebies too!

I got a lot of questions about the state of Texas in 2031. While we are really enthusiastic to run a worldcon we understand that the US is not conducive to that right now. We are waiting to see how the midterms go. (Please no politics on this post) However we can have some fun with it right? ;)

Happy tiara Tuesday! Okay I almost forgot but finally was able to get it done in time! I came back from LA to a bunch of filigree orders and was inspired! And of course if you missed it the tiara we made in the workshop. It was lovely to see everyone wearing them afterwards!

So many people came up to me to say hi. It was a pleasure to meet so many new people!

I am pretty sure I mentioned it here but I designed the LAcon logo and they gave me a pin for being on staff :)

Happy tiara Tuesday! So at conventions I get a lot of people saying to me, “I don’t recognize you with out a tiara!” Well worry no more! I have a tiara for worldcon and I will be wearing it 😉 maybe not the WHOLE time! I just got these dragons and love them. They work so well for centerpieces!

I made a pair before but I loved them so much I needed to make a new pair :)🦋

I kept forgetting to take a photo for months (oops), but LOOK AT MY AMAZING TIARA, which I got in a @locusmag.bsky.social fundraiser earlier this year. It was made/donated by the incredible @sillysarasue.bsky.social ( who was nominated for a 2026 Hugo award for her art, btw).

Besides the other fun things on my @laworldcon.bsky.social schedule I will be doing a demo in the fanzine lounge on the Ghost of My Friends signatures for the @journeyplanet.bsky.social issue. I decided to wait till after LA to release it so I can include more people in the fun! Saturday 3pm!

The difference between the workshop tiara and my Hugo tiara is one piece of filigree (if I can source a few more pieces of the side ones) and that is the moon in the front. Although I should bring some just in case! And mostly I have large gems for the centerpieces.

Happy tiara Tuesday! I posted this tiara yesterday and it has always been a favorite (first picture). But it needed a bit of tlc and updating. So I did just that 🙂 New filigree, stronger attachments. I loved it before but now it is even better 🙂 (picture is better too! Heh) ❤️👑❄️

So one of my favorite tiaras is being remade today. I am struggling to change it but it was an earlier one and wasn’t put together the best way. So I have removed all the silver bits and am reworking it.

A few more days to vote in the hugos! Don’t forget the fan categories! We work hard to celebrate the community and I really appreciate all the fans who create! My Tiara Tuesdays are for bringing joy to people in a small way which is why I keep doing it. 300 tiaras later I still love it 👑❤️

Happy tiara Tuesday! In honor of being one of the featured guests for @laworldcon.bsky.social I HAD to make a tiara. Somehow I have taken a logo that was originally steampunk and made it into a sailor moon fantasy ;) Yes I designed the original logo. So seems fitting I use it ;)
