Here's my MG book about a boy who itches, lives in rural Ohio, and has an after school job at a pheasant farm. It's got a little college football happening! And a tornado! An Ohio Grassman cameo! #Booksky bookshop.org/p/books/itch...

Check out my review (first photo) of @spanoudis.bsky.social book “Roger and Phoebe!” It’s a book that’s the perfect beach read for adults. www.amazon.com/Roger-Phoebe...
Fantastic day with these kiddos. And of course cute story. 💜🐻❄️🐧
It was a beautiful day for a trip to the public library. Yes, I have a giant bandage on my face because school librarians also see their dermatologists over spring break.
Enjoying a super cold day off from school, basking in a sun beam. And enjoying “It’s The End of The World and I’m in My Bathing Suit” by @andthisjustin.bsky.social. Can’t wait get back to school and share with my students. #oomslibrary #booksky #schoollibrarians

One of our ELL students speaks Russian and she brought a book from home for cozy read day in the library! @danpoblocki.bsky.social I immediately recognized the cover and it resulted in a great conversation with her classmates. ❤️ Books for the win! #authors
Very sad 6th grader: Mrs. Silwani! All the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Books are out! There’s nothing to read! Me: Oh buddy, I’ve got you covered. ⬇️ Dav Pilkey, he is hooked! Huge thanks to you and @jeffkinney.bsky.social for books that keep my middle schoolers reading. ❤️ #authors #oomslibrary
Thanks @katemessner.bsky.social for writing these stories!
Margaret Peterson Haddix is amazing and I can’t keep her books on our shelves! #booksky
#AmReading Greystone Secrets: The Strangers by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Lives up to the blurb. A page turner. Best #MG I've read in a while.

#booksky book suggestion time! “The Mona Lisa Vanishes” by Nicholas Day & illustrated by Brett Helquist is a perfect mix of mystery, biography, history, & nonfiction. While this book is for middle grade and above, adults will love it too. I can’t keep it on our shelves at school. I loved it!
It’s a fireplace kind of day here in the Orange Middle School Library. Happy Monday! ❤️
I turned the tables on my classes today and had them do the book talks instead of me. All volunteers. They loved it and of course everyone wanted the books their peers talked about.

Someone once asked me what they could do to help school librarians battle book bans and attacks. My best advice was this…help spread the word far and wide about all the wonderful things happening in your child’s school library. We must tell our story. 💕📚
Last month, I shared a post commemorating my coming out as gay. Every year, I acknowledge the occasion, and this year, it was particularly meaningful. If you missed my essay and have a few minutes, I hope you’ll take the time to read and perhaps share it. theauthorvillage.com/phil-bildner...
