There was this whole thing where people said the French wouldn't embrace bicycle commuting like the Dutch because of inherent cultural traits and these lanes would be ghost towns. Instead, obviously, bike usage exploded as soon as the infrastructure was made available. These are all lessons people!

Based on experience of literally 100’s of sites, I still see very similar issues when analyzing websites through an SEO lens today. It’s not what you expect like title tab optimization (which is often needed)… no… it’s websites not knowing how to simply explain what they do or what they sell > 🧵

Have a complex query relying on simple-ish math ChatGPT is a much better option than Google. Son & I were looking at Chilean license plates wondering how many permutations with their format. XX-XX-## Voice prompt > answer 8 seconds: ~46M Humans are in trouble. Compare to ~4M total vehicles!

SEO isnt easy or a panacea. ~90% of the time it can be successful for traffic, engagement, and the metrics that matter to a business. ~10% of the time it may not work. We’re dealing with a black box, where we see the outcomes, understand the inputs, but we aren't Google. #WeAreSEO

Google collects contextual data from user devices (e.g., location, device type, browsing history, or prior search behavior). 🖱️
My dad would’ve been 90 today. His team, Torquay, drew 1-1 today. Dad followed them since the 60’s, it was with immense pride he would announce their wins when I asked him how they were doing. Keep cheering for the Gulls, dad ♥️
FYI: ChatGPT & Claude crawlers fetch JavaScript files, but at the moment they don't execute them. This means they can't access content that relies on client-side rendering. This may change. But good to know! #TheMoreYouSEO #InLinks
