Horror is a transgressive, punk rock genre that is at times VERY political. And a large component of our audience and community is very, very queer. You don't have to share our politics to enjoy horror, but you sure as shit should share the ideals that everyone has a right to exist if you make it.

Listen. This is the time to use your voice. Loud and fuckin proud. *Crave* to have the right people pissed off at you (because they are in fact, the wrong people). Trans folks, black, brown, queer folks and everyone who doesn’t fit into some pre-approved box deserve better than what we are givin.

@laurenlavera.bsky.social lauren i just wanted to say i love you and thank you for always standing up for what’s right, thank you for using your platform for good using your voice. i’m so happy to support someone like you.

Super excited for you to see ✨this✨ #TheMonster

This year was filled with immense love and insurmountable loss. As it comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone that I’ve crossed paths with, especially in this past year. You’ve enriched my life with your presence however long or short the encounter. Happy New Year! 🥂✨

Mentioned yesterday. In November a film production came to my house to film. The film is The Monster starring Djimon Hounsou & Lauren LaVera. Knowing nothing about the film, I chose to homage a classic Bernie Wrightson cover with the stars inserted into it. These got printed up for cast and crew.

hope everyone is relaxing and enjoying their weekend!! 🖤
